Reservation Policy

We hate to be a bit hard but unfortunately we have no option but to have the following reservation policy :

Please Choose carefully before making a Reservation.

Our shared rooms are very large 40 to 70sqm each room. Multi-share bathrooms and we have female only or mixed only dorms. Beds are bunk beds (very comfortable mattresses) with fresh laundered white sanitized linen and Blankets and the rooms are cleaned everyday. Climate controlled air-conditioning (this is a must over this period of time in Sydney). Each room has its own fridge, TV, DVD Player and individual security lockers.

  1. A minimum stay of 5 nights is required during the period 22nd December 2008 to 5th January 2009. It can be any 5 nights during this period. No Check-in’s are available on Xmas day 25th December 2008.
  2. A 20% deposit is required on making a reservation. The deposit is non-refundable.
  3. Full payment of the balance owing on accommodation must be paid by Mid November 2008. If the balance is not fully paid by Mid November 2008, the reservation will be Cancelled and no refund with be made of the deposit. 
  4. Credit Card payment must be by at least one person who is arriving and the credit card, which has been charged, must be shown on arrival.
  5. A key, padlock, linen and blanket deposit of A$30.00 is required. This is fully refundable on checkout and return of those items to the reception. This will be charged on your credit card and a refund of A$30.00 in cash will be given back to you on checkout on return of those items.
  6.  A credit card charge of A$ 2.00 will also be applicable and
  7. By confirming to make reservation, we assume you and all the other guests of the booking have read the reservation policy and you and all the other guests accept all the terms and conditions as set out in Sydney Backpackers reservation policy.

If you intend to do some tours or visit attractions while in Sydney, please let us know what you might like to do and we will see if we can get you a special price.

If there is any information on Sydney clubs, parties etc. please ask us and we will send you the details.

Should our facilities or rates not be suitable to you, may we take the opportunity to wish you all a merry Xmas and a Happy New Year. Should you choose to stay in another hostel in Sydney please make sure that it is secure and complies with all the stringent safety regulations that the Government Certificates are available on request.
